A Short Video on John Sung

Here’s a great video on the life of John Sung that I chanced upon. Noted by some as the John Wesley of China, he’s comparatively little-known, but was probably the most influential Chinese revivalist of the 20th century. In his 14 years of ministry, he was used to spread revival to China, Vietnam, Singapore and other countries.

I highly recommend his biography by Leslie T. Lyall, and a recently released collection of his diaries, The Journal Once Lost (compiled by his surviving daughter Levi). They are both published by Armour Publishing

The biography by Lyall is the best introduction, it is well worth the read. I found these two books (and his life) to be absolutely inspiring. Do watch the video, it’s the only one I’ve ever found about him!
